Cyclists practice yoga to alleviate muscle tightness from enduring long hours in the saddle. In cycling, the quadriceps, hamstrings, and hips never rest. Our one hour vinyasa flow class is targeted at cyclists of all levels, but these are the same muscle groups that get used, abused, neglected, and tight from long hours in an office chair.
The Bike Rack hosts a one-hour yoga class every Sunday evening at 6 p.m. and every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m to help our fellow cyclists alleviate muscle tightness, gain mental clarity and work on their flexibility and strength. Our licensed instructors will lead you through an hour of Vinyasa flow with adjustments for each individual student. Classes are donation based, with a suggested donation of $5.
